In the final book of the Reversible series, we meet and follow the fifth and final subject in the BioFem research study--a study that can change men into women through the use of the company's new nano-genetic technologies. Alex sits quietly in the welcoming meeting, listening to the company leaders describe the benefits of their research. As the scientists describe how the men will transform into women and then back into men, Alex has a secret he hopes nobody will learn because he desperately wants to be part of this study. Alexis grew up on her parents' ranch in Greeley, Colorado, learning to ride horses and manage cattle with her father who quietly refuses to recognize that his daughter is transgender. Alexis spends her summers helping her dad work their small ranch and manage the local livestock auctions. She's a cowgirl stuck in the body of a teen cowboy. She escapes the ranch when she leaves for college to study nursing.

Once Alexis gets her wish to become female, she reunites with her parents; celebrating at a Denver restaurant frequented by the local ranchers. She meets Brad, a rancher who works with her father.
